Flew over Sand Wash and its still covered with snow and melting fast with standing water in various places.

Some Cow Tracks down the length of runway, but not bad. Runway was dry, camp areas were dry, windsock was in good condition.

DId not land....north end looked a little damp but rest appeared to be dry. Did not attempt a closer inspection due to the number of people around the strip on foot.

Airstrip was found to wet and muddy on the eastern half. Western half (approx 700 feet) dry. Suggest that the airstrip not be used for the time being as to avoid putting ruts into the landing surface.

A flight of four of us made a flight down to hike to the Colonnade Arch. The strip handled the winter well and was in decent shape, especially after the work party. Another work party would be good to further clear the strip and remove a few of the bigger bumps.
