David Abrahamson visited Happy Canyon 7 years ago in a Rans S-7 with 27.5" tires

The start of the good part of rwy 9 (p. 57, Fly Utah!) is marked with two dark-colored cones that come into focus on final. Runway is fairly smooth with only a few small soft spots or ruts.

David Abrahamson visited Brown's Rim 7 years ago in a Rans S-7 with 27.5" tires

The strip is very narrow, so you have to land on and stay in the wheel marks. No parking or camping area noted. Otherwise matches the Fly Utah! data.

Preston Rich visited Cedar Mountain 7 years ago in a Cessna 180

Most of the runway is in great shape. There are some car ruts on the northern end. Not deep enough to cause us a problem but smaller tires might have a bigger problem

David Finamore visited Mineral Canyon 7 years ago in a C-170B/180hp with 8.00x6 tires

Runway is dry and firm with only shallow car tire ruts from the northwest end through the road entrance. Southeast of the road entrance the runway is softer with deeper ruts and at least one pretty deep hole. Camping would be unpleasant. No shade and the river banks are choked with tamarisk. River is currently running high so there's no beach.

Cory Wolf visited Rock Creek 7 years ago in a C205 with 850s tires

This is a private strip and permission is required. Basically it is a pasture that doubles as runway. The grass can be tall and hazards can be hard to see. The surface is smooth and flat. In the Spring it had a little give to it that made it smooth to land on. Later in the season it may be more firm. Horses and burros are present so keep an eye out for them. The historic buildings have many artifacts still in them. Look but don't touch or take. This site is frequented by river rafters, so be courteous in both your flying and interactions with them. Most will likely not realize that this is an airstrip. The approach requires an approach from in the canyon with the strip not always in site. Use caution for canyon winds which can vary and be erratic. It's an absolutely beautiful location.

Cory Wolf visited Mexican Mountain 7 years ago in a C205 with 8.50 tires

The airstrip is in great shape and is dry. The normal two soft spots are near the old east end prior to where it was extended in 2013. The parking areas are a little soft and could be an issue with someone with smaller tires. The wild flowers are in full bloom with all the rain we’ve had. I’ve never seen so many at MM!

Perry Hacking visited Mineral Canyon 7 years ago in a T206H with oversize stock tires

Southernmost part of runway looks deceptively good. There are a couple of areas where the runway has been undermined and collapsed. Could cause some damage to a nose gear. Northern 3/4 of the runway is in great shape. Runway is dry everywhere, but it is obvious that both it and especially the parking area on the east about midfield has been recently very wet.
